Hypergraph Artificial Benchmark for Community Detection (h–ABCD)

Abstract The Artificial Benchmark for Community Detection (ABCD) graph is a recently introduced random model with community structure and power-law distribution both degrees sizes. generates graphs similar properties as the well-known Lancichinetti, Fortunato, Radicchi (LFR) one, its main parameter ξ can be tuned to mimic counterpart in LFR model, mixing μ. In this article, we introduce hypergraph of ABCD h–ABCD, which also produces distributions ground-truth sizes following power-law. As original ABCD, new h–ABCD produce hypergraphs various levels noise. More importantly, flexible any desired level homogeneity hyperedges that fall into one community. result, it used suitable, synthetic playground analyzing tuning detection algorithms.
